HB 1669 -- State Requirements for Employment

Sponsor:  Bennett

This bill prohibits state agencies, boards, and commissions from
establishing a policy or rule which requires a person to obtain
a state certificate from a public school program which links
education and careers as a condition of employment, higher
education instruction, or receiving a scholarship.

State agencies are also prohibited from requiring employers to
require such certification as a condition of employment.
