HB 2117 -- Jackson and Clay County Park Rangers

Sponsor: Ridgeway

This bill gives Jackson and Clay County park rangers the same
powers given to other peace officers of the state. The rangers
can enforce any state law or local regulation within the
boundaries of a park. The bill also requires park rangers to be
under the supervision of the county commission and not under the
supervision of the county sheriff.
