AN ACT

To amend chapter 163, RSMo, relating to state aid for education, by adding thereto one new section relating to assessed valuation for state aid purposes.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

Section A. Chapter 163, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 163.043, to read as follows:

163.043. The district equalized assessed valuation for the purposes of line 2 of the foundation formula pursuant to subsection 6 of section 163.031 shall be multiplied by .97 for the 2001-02 school year and .95 for the 2002-03 school year and each school year thereafter.
