AN ACT
To repeal section 233.150, RSMo 1994, relating to road district reports, and to enact in lieu thereof one new section relating to the same subject.
Section A. Section 233.150, RSMo 1994, is repealed and one new section enacted in lieu thereof, to be known as section 233.150, to read as follows:
233.150. 1. The [said] board shall make an annual settlement with the county commission [during the month of August] prior to the end of the month of January in each year, which settlement shall contain a full and correct itemized statement of all moneys received and from what sources received and for what purpose the [same has] moneys have been expended, giving each particular item, and shall be subscribed and sworn to by at least two members of [said] the board before some officer authorized by the laws of this state to administer oaths, a copy of which settlement shall be filed with the county clerk, and may be published in some newspaper published in [said] the road district in the discretion of the city council, the expenses of which shall be paid out of the city treasury.
2. Should any such board fail to make the annual settlement required [herein during the month of August] pursuant to
this section prior to the end of the month of January in each year, then the county, or its treasurer, shall not be
authorized until such report be filed to pay out any sum, or sums, of money which may be due to [said] the road district,
or which may be set aside and placed to the credit of [said] the road district. The board shall send a copy of such annual
settlement to the state highways and transportation commission at Jefferson City at the time of the
filing.
