Rep. Henry Rizzo, a Democrat, represents part of Jackson County (District 40) in the Missouri House of Representatives.

A significant legislative accomplishment for Rep. Rizzo was the first statewide gang bill that he sponsored in 1992.

In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Rizzo has worked in public relations for the past 11 years. He also is a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

A 1972 graduate of De La Salle High School, Rep. Rizzo attended Central Missouri State University.

Born August 10, 1953 in Kansas City, Rep. Rizzo currently resides there with his wife Silvia. They have two children: Tony Mike and Johnny Joe.
