REP. STEVE McLUCKIE
90th General Assembly
Rep. Steve McLuckie, a Democrat, represents part of Kansas City (District 44) in the Missouri House of Representatives.
His legislative accomplishments include passing legislation strengthening child support enforcement, requiring a one-year warranty on devices for disabled individuals, improving bicycle safety and promoting legislation to increase safety for students in school.
Rep. McLuckie is organizing director for an education association and a member of the following organizations: Institute for Labor Studies Advisory Board (UMKC, Longview Community College); Armour Home Retirement Center board of directors; the Committee for County Progress; and Minority Museum board of directors; Sierra Club; Friends of the Kansas City Zoo; and Rails to Trails Conservancy.
Rep. McLuckie graduated with a B.S.W. from Western Michigan University in 1978.
Born July 17, 1956, in Midland MI, Rep. McLuckie currently resides in Kansas City with his wife, Janice Jones. They have two sons, Zachary and Kramer.
