REP. RUSSELL C. GUNN

90th General Assembly

Rep. Russell Gunn, a Democrat, represents part of St. Louis City (District 70) in the Missouri House of Representatives.

In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Gunn works as an insurance and securities broker.

A member of the executive board for the National Conference of Insurance Legislators (NCOIL) 1994-present, Rep. Gunn is also a member of the National Black Caucus of State Legislators (NBCSL), 1994-present; chairman, Missouri Legislative Black Caucus; and a member of the African American Male National Council (AAMNC), 1995-present. He is a member of the Parent Advisory Council for the Normandy School District and attends St. John African Methodist Episcopal Church.

A 1968 graduate of Sumner High School, Rep. Gunn obtained an associate's degree in business from Forest Park Community College.

Born November 27, 1948, in St. Louis, Rep. Gunn currently resides in St. Louis with his wife Gwendolyn. They have three children: Gwendolyn C., Grenetta and Russell II.
