REP. RITA D. DAYS
90th General Assembly
Rep. Rita D. Days, a Democrat, represents part of St. Louis County (District 71) in the Missouri House of Representatives.
Rep. Days serves on the Southern Legislative Conference Education Committee and the Reappointment Task Force Committee of the Assembly on State Issues of the National Conference of State Legislatures.
She is a member of the following organizations: 1998 Henry Toll Fellowship Program; Juvenile Justice advisory group; Children's Services Commission; Interagency Coordinating Council for Part H, Infants and Toddlers; board member, Nurses for Newborns; Women’s Health Council; advisory board member, Lasting Solutions—a program of legal services of Eastern Missouri; Normandy, Airport and Norwood Democratic Township Clubs; treasurer, Missouri Black Caucus; Women Legislators of Missouri; Democratic Policy Group; and Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority. Rep. Days attends the New Sunny Mount Baptist Church.
She graduated from Webster High School in 1968 and received a music degree from Lincoln University in 1972.
Born October 16, 1950, in Minden, La., Rep. Days currently resides in Bel-Nor with her husband Frank. They have three children: Elliott, Natalie and Evelyn.
