REP. JOHN J. HICKEY
90th General Assembly
Rep. John J. Hickey, a Democrat, represents part of St. Louis County (District 80) in the Missouri House of Representatives.
Rep. Hickey has served in the House of Representatives since 1992. His legislative accomplishments include measures relating to the annual determination of prevailing wages and certain local sales tax revenues.
In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Hickey is a pipefitter.
Rep. Hickey is a member of the following organizations: North County Labor Club; Woodson Terrace Lions Club International; Northwest Township; Airport Township; North County Young Democrats; and St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bridgeton.
Rep. Hickey also comes from a distinguished legislative family including his father Patrick J. Hickey, who served in the Missouri House for 30 years and was Speaker Pro Tem of that body for 16 of those years; his aunt Judith O'Connor, who served in the Missouri House for 22 years; his uncle Patrick O'Connor, who served in the Missouri House for 6 years; and his uncle Robert Young, who served 6 years in the Missouri House, 8 years in the Missouri Senate, and 10 years in the U.S. House.
Rep. Hickey attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School, North County Technical School and the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
Born February 23, 1965, in St. Louis, Rep. Hickey currently resides in Bridgeton with his wife Jane.
