REP. CATHERINE L. HANAWAY

90th General Assembly

Rep. Catherine L. Hanaway, a Republican, represents part of St. Louis County (District 87) in the Missouri House of Representatives.

Rep. Hanaway, elected to her first two year term in the House in 1998, is an attorney and owner of Hanamore Solutions, L.L.C.. She has served as the chief staff person in the St. Louis district office for U.S. Senator Christopher "Kit" Bond from 1993-1998. Prior to joining Sen. Bond’s staff, Rep. Hanaway practiced law at Peper, Martin, Jensen, Maichel and Hetlage.

Her civic activities include membership on the Hope House board of directors, former president of St. Louis Jaycees and recent election to the Foster Care Coalition board of directors. Rep. Hanaway and her family belong to Mary Queen of Peace Church.

Rep. Hanaway earned her bachelor of arts degree in journalism in 1987 at Creighton University. She graduated in the top ten percent of her law school class at the Catholic University of America in 1990.

Rep. Hanaway currently resides in Warson Woods with her husband, Christopher and their daughter, Lucy.
