Rep. John E. Griesheimer, a Republican, represents part of Franklin County (District 109) in the Missouri House of Representatives.

In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Griesheimer is an automobile salesman. He is also a member of the following organizations: Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Washington; 3rd vice-president, Washington Lions Club; 4th Degree Knights of Columbus; former vice chairman, East Central Solid Waste Management District/Task Force, 1990-1992; former board member, Missouri Association of Counties, 1991-1992. He was also an elected Washington City councilman, 1982-1988; and he was Franklin County commissioner, 1989-1992.

Rep. Griesheimer attended Franklin County schools before graduating from East Central College in Union, MO.

Born July 19, 1952 in St. Clair, Rep. Griesheimer resides in Washington with his wife Rita Griesheimer. They have three children: Sean, Aaron and Michelle.
