REP. DELETA WILLIAMS
90th General Assembly
Rep. Deleta Parmley Williams, a Democrat, represents part of Johnson County (District 121) in the Missouri House of Representatives.
Rep. Williams is a real estate broker and served as the Johnson County Collector of Revenues from 1975-1993.
Rep. Williams is co-coordinator of the student legislative intern program and past president of the Women Legislators of Missouri. She is a member of the RLDS Church, Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce, Whiteman Air Force Base Community Council, Citizens for a Drug-Free Environment Inc., Business and Professional Women's Club, American Association of University Women, Phi Kappa Phi, Rotary Club and board of directors for UMB Bank-Warrensburg. Rep. Williams is also a member of the Missouri Democratic State Committee and past president of both the Women's Democratic Club of Johnson County and Fourth District Women's Democratic Clubs. Rep. Williams served as a delegate to the National Democratic Convention in 1988.
A 1953 graduate of Warrensburg High School, Rep. Williams received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Central Missouri State University in 1984.
Born August 21, 1935, in Caraway, Arkansas, Rep. Williams currently resides in Warrensburg with her husband Ernest. She has two sons, David and Drew Parmley and three grandchildren: Gretchen, Jacob and Christopher.
