REP. BILL L. RANSDALL
90th General Assembly
Representative Bill Ransdall, a Democrat, represents Pulaski County (District 148) in the Missouri House of Representatives.
In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Ransdall is a farmer and a businessman.
Rep. Ransdall is a member of the following organizations: Masonic Lodge No. 375 AF and AM; Abou Ben Adhem; Scottish Rite; Association of U.S. Army; Sojourners; Committee of Fifty; Pulaski County Democratic Club; Missouri Cattlemen's Association; Farm Bureau; Ducks Unlimited; the Wild Turkey Federation; and the United Methodist Church. He was elected to the Waynesville City Council in 1978 and served as mayor pro tem from 1982-1988 and mayor from 1988-1996. Rep. Ransdall also chaired the committee to select U.S. Marshals and U.S. Attorneys in 1993. He was awarded the Outstanding Civilian Award with Medal by Department of the Army.
A graduate of Moler Barber School, Rep. Ransdall also attended the University of Missouri-Rolla.
Born March 16, 1947, in Waynesville, Rep. Ransdall currently there with his wife, Patricia. They have two daughters, Cynthia LeAnne and Amy Elizabeth; two grandsons and one granddaughter.
