REP. DAVID W. SCHWAB

90th General Assembly

Rep. David Schwab, a Republican, represents part of Cape Girardeau and Bollinger counties (District 157) in the Missouri House of Representatives.

In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Schwab is a farmer and businessman. He is a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church, where he has served as president of the Congregation and chairman of the Board of Elders.

A 1961 graduate of Jackson High School, Rep. Schwab served in the National Guard from 1963-1969.

He has served on the Governor’s Advisory Council for Agriculture, chairman of the Farm Bureau 8th District Political Action Committee. Rep. Schwab was appointed to the State Agricultural Stabilization Committee by the Secretary of Agriculture Richard Lyng.

Born February 8, 1943, in Cape Girardeau County, Rep. Schwab resides in Jackson with his wife Phyllis. They have three children and five grandchildren.
