REP. DENNY J. MERIDETH, III

90th General Assembly

Rep. Denny Merideth III, an Independent, represents Pemiscot County, and parts of Dunklin and New Madrid counties (District 162) in the Missouri House of Representatives. 

First elected by special election in 1997, and then re-elected in the General Election of November 1998, Rep. Merideth is the first Independent to serve in the House since 1891.

In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Merideth is a farmer. He also served in the U.S. Air Force from 1973-1995 as an F-15 pilot.

Rep. Merideth graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy with a bachelor of science degree in international affairs. He also received a master's degree in management from Webster University. 

Born March 15, 1951, Rep. Merideth currently resides in Caruthersville with his wife Heidi. They have four children; Danica, Erin, Kristofer, and Denny IV.
