HB 452 -- VOCATIONAL ENTERPRISES

SPONSOR:  Gratz

COMMITTEE ACTION:  Voted "do pass by consent" by the Committee
on Correctional and State Institutions by a vote of 13 to 0.

This bill allows retired state employees to have access to goods
and services provided by the vocational enterprises program
within the Department of Corrections.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say that the bill allows retired state
employees to use the services provided by vocational enterprises.

Testifying for the bill were Representative Gratz; and Missouri
State Retirees Association.

OPPONENTS:  There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
