This bill requires reasonable expenses, including costs of title searches and certified mail, to be included in the amount required to be paid by a person redeeming property as the result of a tax-delinquent sale. FISCAL NOTE: No impact on state funds. PROPONENTS: Supporters say that persons buying tax-delinquent properties should not have to pay for the cost of the sale. The cost should be paid by the owner or person redeeming the property. Testifying for the bill were Representatives Harding and Ridgeway. OPPONENTS: There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
