HB 922 -- ANNEXATION

CO-SPONSORS:  Gaskill, Bartelsmeyer

COMMITTEE ACTION:  Voted "do pass by consent" by the Committee
on Local Government and Related Matters by a vote of 17 to 0.

This bill allows the City of Monett to annex the Monett
Municipal Airport.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say that the bill will allow the City of
Monett to develop property adjacent to the airport into an
industrial park.

Testifying for the bill was Representative Gaskill.

OPPONENTS:  There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
