HB 1024 -- County Landfill Fees

This bill allows counties of the second classification to impose
a voter-approved county landfill fee not to exceed $1.50 per
ton.  Counties of the third classification can already do this.
Counties imposing the fee must establish an economic development
authority.  The bill also expands the uses of county landfill
fees to include road construction and maintenance for roads
directly affected by a landfill located within the county.
