HB 492 -- Income Tax:  Dependency Deduction

Co-Sponsors:  Levin, Jetton, Myers, Boucher, Secrest

This bill increases the dependency deduction for purposes of
individual income tax from $1,200 per dependent to $2,400 per
dependent.

The increase will apply to tax year 2001 and thereafter.
