HB 684 -- Amateur Radio License Plates

This bill requires that amateur radio license plates contain the
words "AMATEUR RADIO" in place of the words "SHOW-ME-STATE."
Previous plate owners making a new application and paying a new
fee to retain an amateur radio plate may request a replacement
plate with the words "AMATEUR RADIO" in place of the words
"SHOW-ME-STATE."  If the application is made to retain a plate
that is 3 years old or older, the replacement plate will be
issued at no additional charge.  If the plate is less than 3
years old, a replacement plate charge will apply.

The bill also requires that letters or numbers or combinations
of letters and numbers on special personalized license plates
not exceed 6 characters.
