HB 931 -- Employee Disqualification List

This bill requires the Governor to designate a state department
to maintain a centralized employee disqualification list and to
maintain a toll-free telephone access number.  The employee
disqualification list is to include lists already maintained by
state agencies, as well as the names of persons disqualified
from employment by a department even if the department does not
currently maintain a list.  The bill specifically includes the
employee disqualification lists currently maintained by the
Department of Social Services in the centralized list.  It also
requires individuals convicted of certain crimes who are barred
from working for the Department of Mental Health to be included
on the centralized employee disqualification list.

The bill also makes certain technical changes.
