HB 45 -- COMMISSIONER OF EDUCATION

Current law requires the Commissioner of Education to be a
resident of the state for at least one year prior to
appointment.  This bill deletes the one-year residency
requirement and requires instead that the commissioner be a
state resident upon assumption of the duties of commissioner.
