HB 48 -- FUNERAL DIRECTORS AND EMBALMERS

This bill makes technical corrections in the requirements to
obtain a limited funeral director's license (to work in a
funeral establishment licensed only for cremation).  A person
who holds a limited license must complete the funeral director
practical examination to obtain a full funeral director's
license.

The bill also allows the State Board of Funeral Directors and
Embalmers to grant extensions to persons who have allowed their
funeral director's license to lapse.
