AN ACT
To amend chapter 313, RSMo, relating to the state lottery by adding thereto one new section relating to the same subject.
Section A. Chapter 313, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 313.355, to read as follows:
313.355. 1. No person shall advertise on television, radio or in newspapers for the purpose of promoting the state lottery.
2. All other advertising to promote the state lottery shall contain information which clearly indicates the type of
lottery game, the prize structure, the price of tickets, the locations for purchasing tickets, the payout ratios, and the
time, date and place of the lottery, if applicable. Payout ratio information shall include statistical information on
the odds of winning and the average return on the dollar in prize money. At no time shall the state lottery be
advertised in a manner designed to induce persons to participate in the state lottery.
