AN ACT
To amend chapter 191, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to EDTA chelation therapy.
Section A. Chapter 191, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 191.950, to read as follows:
191.950. Every health care professional licensed in this state shall inform patients about ethylene diamine tetra-acetic acid (EDTA) chelation therapy as a medical option for the treatment of certain conditions, including but not
limited to hardening of the arteries and coronary heart disease, the aging process, carotid artery disease and certain
heart arrhythmias, diabetes, hypo- and hyperthyroidism, hypercalcemic conditions, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue
and peripheral neurophathy, multiple sclerosis and osteoarthritis, and heavy metal toxicity.
