AN ACT

To amend chapter 171, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to the giving of incentives to students or their parents for certain purposes, with penalty provisions.



Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

Section A. Chapter 171, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 171.191, to read as follows:

171.191. 1. No school or school district shall provide any incentive or inducement to students or their parents or legal guardians to register for the federal free and reduced-price school lunch program, nor to be in attendance at such school or school district on any given day.

2. Any school or school district which violates this section shall forfeit the proportionate value of one day of its state aid entitlement pursuant to section 163.031, RSMo, for each day said school or school district violates this section.
