REP. JOHN QUINN
91st General Assembly
Rep. John Quinn, a Republican, represents Carroll and Livingston counties and part of Linn County (District 7) in the Missouri House of Representatives.
Rep. Quinn was elected in August 2001 to fill an unexpired term. In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Quinn is a self-employed farmer of 30 years.
Rep. Quinn is a member of St. Columban’s Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He is also a member of the following organizations: past president, Farm Bureau; chairman, Livingston County Soil and Water board; Young Farmers; board member, Ethanol Plant; secretary-treasurer, Missouri Corn Growers; and the advisory committee of North Central Missouri College.
A recipient of the Agriculture Appreciation award from the Chillicothe Chamber of Commerce; winner of the 1997 National Corn Growers contest and the1993 Livingston County Farm Family, Rep. Quinn attended Northwest Missouri State University and the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Rep. Quinn currently resides in Chillicothe with his wife, Mary. They have four daughters: Karen, 26 who is married to Chedric Maggart and lives in Shawnee, Kan.; Rebecca, 24, a senior at CMSU who will graduate in the fall; Marcy, 22, a senior at SMS who will graduate in May; and Molly, 18, a senior at Chillicothe High School. They also have one grandson.
