REP. LOUIS H. FORD

91st General Assembly

Rep. Louis Ford, a Democrat, represents part of St. Louis City (District 58) in the Missouri House of Representatives.

Rep. Ford was elected to his tenth two-year term in 2000.

In addition to his legislative activities, Rep. Ford works for a pest control company. Previously, Rep. Ford served two years in the U.S. Army.

Rep. Ford is a member of Rehma Church in St. Louis, where he serves on the church finance committee. Additionally, he is a member of the following organizations: 32nd Degree Mason, Eastern Star, the Holy Royal Arch and fifth ward committeeman for five terms. He is an Imperial Past Potentate and is Imperial Ambassador at Large of the Medinah Temple 39 of the Shriners, an organization he has been a member of for over 30 years.

Born March 12, 1935, in Mississippi, Rep. Ford graduated from Sumner High School. He currently resides in St. Louis with his wife Ida Hagler Ford. They have five daughters and four sons.
