Rep. Juanita Head Walton, a Democrat, represents the city of Jennings, city of Moline Acres, Castle Point, Hathaway Manors North and South and some unincorporated areas of North St. Louis County (District 69) in the Missouri House of Representatives.

When Rep. Walton was elected she served as the director of Grace Hill's Women's Business Center. She has also worked as a trainer for St. Louis Community College, an instructor at Alabama State University and as a senior administrator for Maritz Performance Improvement Company in Fenton.

Rep. Walton is a member of Coleman-Wright C.M.E. Church and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Gamma Omega Chapter.

She has been honored by the St. Louis Job Corp and St. Louis Public Schools and is the granddaughter of Willie Head, the first African American mayor in the state of Missouri--Kinloch, Mo., 1948.

A graduate of Kinloch High School, Rep. Walton received her bachelor of science degree in business administration from Lincoln University in 1981, and a master's degree in corporate communications in 1993 from Lindenwood College.

Born in St. Louis, Rep. Walton resides there with her husband, Elbert A. Walton, Jr., and their children: Elbert III and Johnathan.
