HB 1242 -- SPECIAL LICENSE PLATE SPONSOR: Griesheimer COMMITTEE ACTION: Voted "do pass by consent" by the Committee on Motor Vehicle and Traffic Regulations by a vote of 7 to 0. This bill allows for a special license plate bearing the words "PREVENT DISASTERS" for any person who wants to pay tribute to the disaster relief efforts made in the aftermath of the events of September 11, 2001.
