SB 1168, HCA 1 -- CONVEYANCE IN LACLEDE COUNTY

SPONSOR:  Russell (Gratz)

COMMITTEE ACTION:  Voted "do pass by consent" by the Committee on
Correctional and State Institutions by a vote of 13 to 0.

This bill authorizes the Governor to convey a clear zone easement
for the airspace above the property managed by the National Guard
to the City of Lebanon.

HCA 1 -- Conveys certain state property located at the Jefferson
City Correctional Center to the General Services Administration
for the purpose of building a federal court house.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say that the bill allows the City of
Lebanon to take control of the airspace surrounding a weather
tower.

Testifying for the bill was Senator Russell.

OPPONENTS:  There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
