HB 1707 -- Speed Pilot Patrol Project

This bill creates the Speed Patrol Pilot Project.  The project
will be for a period of two years in a designated Highway Patrol
troop zone.  Two retired patrolmen will work as speed patrolmen
for no more than 990 hours per year in the designated troop zone
and enforce traffic laws relating to speed limits.  Speed
patrolmen can enforce other laws only under certain
circumstances.
