SCS HB 1964 -- REAL ESTATE
This bill allows neighborhood associations, acting without
compensation, to participate in real estate transactions by
providing prospective buyers with information regarding real
estate located within the geographical area which the association
represents. A neighborhood association is any group organized
for the sole purpose of improving a particular geographic area
within a municipality.
The bill also creates the definitions of "commercial real estate"
and "residential real estate" within the provisions relating to
limited and dual real estate agents and designated real estate
brokers.
