AN ACT
To amend chapter 217, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to alternative health care for persons committed to correctional centers.
Section A. Chapter 217, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 217.232, to read as follows:
217.232. Any person committed to the department of corrections for confinement in a correctional center shall be
permitted to obtain alternative health care, including but not limited to massage therapy, naturopathy, herbs,
vitamins, mineral supplements, and food supplements at the expense of the offender within such rules as may be
convenient and necessary for the proper operation of the correctional center.
