266.143. 1. The director of the department of agriculture, or the director's designee, may participate in the reimportation of genetically enhanced seed (GES) from countries outside the United States if such reimportation is at a discount in price relative to the same or similar price of such genetically enhanced seed which could be purchased in the domestic market.
