REP. JONATHAN (JON) DOLAN

91st General Assembly

 

 

Rep. Jonathan "Jon" Dolan, a Republican, represents the people of West St. Charles County (District 13) in the Missouri House of Representatives. 

 

Rep. Dolan was elected to his first two-year term in 1996 and re-elected in 2000.

 

When not in session, Rep. Dolan works as a public affairs officer with the Missouri National Guard.  He is a captain assigned to Headquarters, State Area Command (HQ STARC) in Jefferson City.  His previous experience includes work as a security sales and design consultant and as a special agent with the Central Intelligence Agency's Office of Security.

 

Rep. Dolan is a member of six Chambers of Commerce in his district; the Wentzville Rotary Club; the Knights of Columbus and St. Patrick's Catholic Church.  He served as a Rotary Reader volunteer for two years and is a graduate of the St. Charles County Vision 2000 Leadership program.  His colleagues have recognized him as the 1997 Outstanding Freshman Legislator in Crime Prevention and the Missouri Farm Bureau as a Friend of Agriculture in 1998 and 2000.

 

A graduate of St. Dominic High School in O'Fallon, Rep. Dolan received his bachelor of arts degree in political science, with a minor in military science, from the University of Missouri-Columbia in December 1988.  He received his master of arts degree in security management from Webster University in St. Louis in March of 1995.

 

Born March 16, 1967, in White Plains, New York, Rep. Dolan is a 17 year resident of Lake St. Louis with his wife, Leanne, and daughter Hannah.
