91st General Assembly
Rep. Bruce Holt, a Democrat, represents part of St. Charles County (District 17) in the Missouri House of Representatives. Rep. Holt was elected to the House in November 2000.
In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Holt works for Whittaker Homes in St. Peters, Mo., as a drywall taper and has been a member of the Painters District Council #2, Local 2341 for 21 years.
Rep. Holt served two terms as the Ward 3 Alderman and was vice-chairman of the Planning and Zoning Commission for the City of St. Peters. He formerly served as a volunteer fireman with the St. Charles County Fire Protection District and is a former member of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton School Board. Rep. Holt is a member of Saint Joachim and Ann Parish of the Roman Catholic Church in St. Peters.
Rep. Holt was awarded the Freshman Legislator of the Year award for achievement in the area of veteran’s affairs.
A 1971 graduate of Orchard Farm High School, Rep. Holt was born October 11, 1952 in St. Louis.
He currently resides in St. Peters with his wife, Virginia C. Holt, and children: Thomas J. Holt and Melissa A. Holt.
