REP. CONNIE J. CIERPIOT

91st General Assembly

 

Rep. Connie J. Cierpiot, a Republican, represents part of Jackson County (District 52) in the Missouri House of Representatives.

 

Rep. Cierpiot was elected to her first two-year term in 1994.

 

In addition to her legislative duties, Rep. Cierpiot is: a Jackson County Republican committeewoman; past president of the Republican Club of Greater Kansas City; a member of the Santa Fe Trails Women's Republican Club; co-founder of the Mother's Refuge for the Pregnant and Unborn, a residence facility in Independence for unwed teenage mothers; a member of Missouri Right to Life; a member of Concerned Women for America; a board member for the Jackson County United Way; and a board member of the Truman Neurological Center.

 

Rep. Cierpiot is also a member of the Plaza Heights Baptist Church in Blue Springs, Missouri.

 

Before serving with the House, Rep. Cierpiot was involved for many years in volunteer service, church/ministry work and grass roots political work.  She also was a PTA member. 

 

Born June 6, 1953, in Kansas City, Rep. Cierpiot graduated from Cardinal Glennon High School in 1971.  She has been married to Charles Michael (Mike) Cierpiot for 29 years.  They currently reside in Independence.  They have twin sons: Patrick Stuart, a third year law student at the University of Missouri in Columbia and Lucas Benjamin, a graduate of the University of Missouri in Kansas City with a degree in business administration.
