Rep.
Robert Hilgemann, a Democrat, represents the central corridor of the City of
St. Louis (District 64) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was
elected in 1997 in a special.
Rep.
Hilgemann formerly worked for Monsanto for 16 years and is currently employed
by IBM. Additionally, he is a member of
the St. Louis Democratic City Central Committee; board of directors, McRee Town
Neighborhood Association; past president, Mid-City Optimists; and the Community
Development Agency board from 1988-1992.
Rep.
Hilgemann has received the following awards: Monsanto Volunteer award; St.
Louis Teachers Local 420, Outstanding Support of Public Education; Labor award;
1998 Riverfront Times Up and Coming Legislator award; and the Working Families
award.
Rep.
Hilgemann graduated from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa and received his
master’s in information management from Washington University in St. Louis.

June 27, 1950, in Aberdeen, S. D., Rep. Hilgemann resides in St. Louis with his
wife Amy.
