Rep. Michael
J. Reid, a Republican, represents part of St. Louis County (District 78) in the
Missouri House of Representatives.
Rep.
Reid served in the House from 1990-1992 and then was elected to the Senate in a
special election and served from 1992-1994.
He was elected to serve again in the House in 1998 and re-elected in
2000.
Rep.
Reid is a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Missouri Citizens for
Life.
A
graduate of Warren County R-III High School, he received his bachelor of
science degree in geology from the University of Missouri-Columbia and studied
mathematics at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
Born
November 26, 1954 in St. Louis, Rep. Reid resides in Hazelwood with his wife
Elaine. They have six children: Alex,
Max, Laura, Valerie, James and Michael.
