REP. CARL M. VOGEL

91st General Assembly

Rep. Carl Vogel, a Republican, represents the western half of Cole County  (District 114) in the Missouri House of Representatives.

In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Vogel is president and general manager of Jefferson City Coca-Cola Bottling Company.

Rep. Vogel is a member of St. Joseph Cathedral Parish and the following organizations: Jefferson City YMCA, Host Lions, Jefferson City Jaycees, Jefferson City Area Chamber of Commerce, Knights of Columbus, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Rotary Club West, Cole County Farm Bureau, board member for Central Trust Bank, St. Mary’s Hospital board of directors, and secretary-treasurer of the Missouri Soft Drink Association. 

Formerly he served as board member and chairman for the Jefferson City Area Chamber of Commerce; board member and fund drive chairman for the Helias High School Foundation and charter member of Leadership Missouri.

Named one of the Ten Outstanding Young Missourians by the Missouri Jaycees in 1990, Rep. Vogel also received the Jefferson City Jaycees Distinguished Service award for lifelong community service in 1994.

A 1973 graduate of Helias High School, Rep. Vogel received a bachelor of arts degree in business administration from the University of Missouri in 1978. 

Born March 7, 1955, in Jefferson City, Rep. Vogel currently resides there with his wife Kimberly and their children, Jacob, age 18 and Kristen, age 16.
