91st General Assembly
Rep.
Beth Long, a Republican, represents Laclede County and part of Dallas County
(District 146) in the Missouri House of Representatives.
She
formerly served as Laclede County clerk from 1983-1990 and was the first woman
elected to this position in the county.
A Laclede County Republican Committee member for 12 years, she also is a
member of the following organizations: Lebanon Chamber of Commerce; Rotary;
Parents as Teachers advisory board; First United Methodist Church; Republican
Women's Club; Council to Prevent Domestic Violence; and the Child Death Review
Team.
A
1966 graduate of Lebanon High School, Rep. Long attended Drury College.
Born April 7,
1948, in Lebanon, Rep. Long resides there with her husband, Kent. They have
three daughters: Amie, Dana and Sarah, and six grandchildren.
