REP. MARK HAMPTON

91st General Assembly

Rep. Mark Hampton, a Democrat, represents Texas County and part of Pulaski County (District 147) in the Missouri House of Representatives. 

Prior to being elected a state representative in 1998 and re-elected in 2000, Rep. Hampton had been a teacher, coach and athletic director with the Summersville School District for 17 years.

He served as a patrolman with the Missouri State Water Patrol from 1985-87.

His education includes a master of science degree in educational administration from William Woods University in 1998. He also received a degree in criminal justice as a 1978 graduate from School of the Ozarks.

A native of Texas County, Rep. Hampton's civic activities include the Summersville Development Corporation, Summersville Chamber of Commerce, as well as attending the First Baptist Church. 

Born February 18, 1956, in Jefferson City, Rep. Hampton currently resides in Summersville with his wife, Karen.
