REP. ROD JETTON

91st General Assembly

Rep. Rod Jetton, a Republican, represents Wayne County and part of Bollinger, Butler and Ripley counties (District 156) in the Missouri House of Representatives.

Rep. Jetton was elected to his first term in 2000 and serves as treasurer of the Republican freshman class. 

In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Jetton is a real estate broker and an appraiser in Marble Hill. He also served from 1996 to 2000 as a Bollinger County commissioner, the youngest county commissioner in the state at that time. Rep. Jetton is also a captain in the United States Marine Corps Reserve.  While on active duty he was involved in the Somalia and Bosnia operations.

A member of New Salem Baptist Church, Rep. Jetton is also a member of the VFW Post 5900, Optimist Club, Chamber of Commerce, Farm Bureau, Christian Coalition, National Rifle Association and the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB).

In 1998, Rep. Jetton was the recipient of the Bollinger County Chamber of Commerce "One Year VIP Business Achievement Award.”

A 1986 graduate of Charleston High School, Rep. Jetton received dual degrees in history and political science from Southwest Baptist University in 1990.

Born September 9, 1967 in DeSoto, Mo., Rep. Jetton lives in Marble Hill with his wife, Cassie. Together they are raising three children: Callie, Elaine and Will.
