Rep. Jason
Crowell, a Republican, represents most of the city of Cape Girardeau within Cape
Girardeau County (District 158) in the Missouri House of Representatives. Rep. Crowell serves as Deputy Whip to
the Republican Caucus.
In addition
to his legislative duties, Rep. Crowell is an attorney with Oliver, Oliver and
Waltz, P.C. in Cape Girardeau and licensed to practice law in three states -
Missouri, Arkansas and Illinois.
Rep. Crowell
is a life-long member Centenary United Methodist Church. He is also a member of
the Cape Girardeau Noon Lions Club, Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce,
Southeast Missouri State University Copper Dome Society and Booster Club, Cape
Girardeau Elks Club 639, Theta Xi, and Southeast Missouri Pachyderm Club. Rep.
Crowell also serves on the University of Missouri Delta Center advisory
board. He is also an Eagle Scout
with the Boy Scouts of America.
A 1990
graduate of Cape Central High School, Rep. Crowell received his B.S.B.A. in
economics from Southeast Missouri State University in 1995 and his juris
doctorate from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law in
1998.
Rep. Crowell
was born February 3, 1972 in Cape Girardeau where he currently
resides.
