Currently, driveaway licenses and windshield placards for physically disabled persons are for one year. This bill allows applicants for both to choose a two-year period. HCA 1 -- Adds an effective date of January 1, 2004. FISCAL NOTE: Net Estimated Income to Highway Fund of $0 in FY 2004, $128,687 in FY 2005, and $53,106 in FY 2006. PROPONENTS: Supporters say numerous requests have been made for biennial registration for driveaway licenses and handicapped placards.
