This bill allows the Missouri Fire Education Trust Fund to receive mon from gifts, grants, or appropriation by the General Assembly. FISCAL NOTE: No impact on state funds. PROPONENTS: Supporters say that volunteer fire fighters need to continue their education and training. The volunteer firefighters have no other source of funds to pay for education, training, and equipment. Testifying for the bill were Representative Dethrow; and Missouri Fire Education Commission.
