HB 57 -- PERSONAL PROPERTY TAX LISTS SPONSOR: Riback Wilson (25) COMMITTEE ACTION: Voted "do pass by consent" by the Committee on Tax Policy by a vote of 16 to 0. The current oath refers to real property, which is not required to be listed on the statement. FISCAL NOTE: No impact on state funds. PROPONENTS: Supporters say that the bill will remove a statement on a taxpayer's personal property tax list that states the listed property includes real property. Testifying for the bill was Representative Riback Wilson (25). OPPONENTS: There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
