HCS HB 93 -- CONVEYANCE IN CALLAWAY COUNTY

SPONSOR:  Kelly, 144 (Moore)

COMMITTEE ACTION:  Voted "do pass by consent" by the Committee on
Corrections and State Institutions by a vote of 14 to 0.

This substitute authorizes the conveyance of certain state
property located in Callaway County to the City of Fulton.

The substitute contains an emergency clause.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say that the bill gives a small unused
portion of the state hospital property to the City of Fulton to
build a walking trail.

Testifying for the bill were Representative Moore; City of
Fulton; and Department of Mental Health.

OPPONENTS:  There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
